Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I order one of your turnings ?
Go to my contact
page and use the form to get in touch
with me. I will work out any and all
details with you by phone. I prefer to
talk to someone rather than have just a
click and pay type purchase.
Do you sell your work anywhere else
other than this site ?
I do a few shows
in Arizona each year where I sell my
turnings. I also have a few pieces in
local fine furnishings stores. I have to
say, I do not turn just to sell my work.
I turn for the pure pleasure of it. If I
was to go into production mode, I would
most likely not enjoy turning as much.
Do you update your site regularly?
I will be updating
this site on a regular basis. As I turn
more, I will add those items. I will
also update information in regard to
turning events and new web sites about
wood turning as I receive them.
Would you add my web site link to yours?
I would be very
happy to as long as it pertains to wood
working. I ask, however, that you add my
link to your web site in return.
How do I learn to Wood Turn?
The best advice I
can give you is join your local
Woodturning Association. There you will
gather all the information you will need
to get started and continue to learn
through demonstrations, club libraries,
networking and more. If you do not know
of any local associations, go to the
national association web site and see
the list of clubs in your area. Here is
the web address
www.woodturner.org
Should
I make a Web Site to sell my Turnings?
I think
so. Making your own web site can be fun
and rewarding. There is plenty of
information on the internet to help you
get started.
